Hamilton hit $1 billion worth of construction on June 17th, 2022, earliest on record. Alan Shaw, The City of Hamilton Chief Business Officer, told the Hamilton Spectator that he is receiving increased calls from developers outside of the area and believes that Hamilton’s talent and business environment positions the city for growth.
The $1 billion worth of permits represent all kinds of projects, but some of these initiatives demonstrate significant investment, land requirements and creativity.
