A Hamilton-based prefab home manufacturer, BECC Modular, will receive $2.5 million from the federal government in a significant development for the housing industry.
The substantial investment will help BECC Modular manufacture nearly 2,200 modular homes annually, contributing to creating over 35 new jobs within the community. The manufacturing plant in Ancaster specializes in producing prefabricated homes for single and multi-storey building projects. Once completed, these modular units are efficiently shipped to customers and assembled on-site using cranes.
