The Business and Workforce Needs Survey closes February 11, 2022
A recent profile of the Hamilton Business and Workforce Needs Survey in the Hamilton Spectator captures some of the survey’s preliminary findings.
Businesses that completed the survey report reduced incomes and challenges to their near-term financial outlook. However, the survey also reveals how its respondents reflect the diversity of Hamilton’s business community. More than half of preliminary respondents report that one or more of their businesses’ owners are women and nearly one-quarter report ownership by immigrants or newcomers.
This survey is delivered as a partnership between Workforce Planning Hamilton and Hamilton Economic Development. Companies who complete the survey can elect to participate in a follow-up study being delivered by Mohawk College and the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce.
