Hamilton’s Venetian Meats expands business and tastes with cup and char pepperoni
Cup and char pepperoni may have once been seen as Western New York’s culinary curiosity turned international sensation, but at Hamilton’s Venetian Meats, it is part of a much longer family business tradition.
A recent article in the Hamilton Spectator profiles Venetian Meats as a fixture of Hamilton’s food sector. The company got its start on Burlington Street in 1957, and has since moved to a new location at 1119 Barton St. E in Stoney Creek.
Venetian Meats sells its unique cup and char pepperoni across Canada, as far west as British Columbia and as far East as Nova Scotia, and to more than a dozen local restaurants and pizzerias. With plans to increase production capacity by at least fifty percent, Venetian expects that their reach will only continue to grow in the years to come.
