McMaster University’s Dr. Karen Mossman spoke with TheFutureEconomy.ca about Hamilton’s life sciences sector.

Dr. Karen Mossman is the Vice President of Research at McMaster University. She spoke with TheFutureEconomy.ca about how Hamilton’s size and diverse industries support a range of collaborative activities in the life sciences. The conversation notes that Hamilton’s hospital networks, research-intensive post-secondary institutions, and growing private-sector employers are well positioned to collaborate on driving innovation and growth in the life sciences.

Dr. Mossman is a professor of pathology and molecular medicine. Her research focuses on studying on the spread of viruses – including the COVID-19 virus.
