Hamilton’s Montague sisters are shining a spotlight on local Black-owned businesses

BLK-Owned Hamilton began as an Instagram account spotlighting Hamilton’s Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs. The account now has nearly 7,000 followers and promotes more than 200 Black-owned businesses. On August 14th, BLK-Owned Hamilton hosted their first pop-up market at Pier 8. The market was part of BLK-Owned Hamilton’s effort to support Black entrepreneurs and businesses with access to marketing, customer attraction, and developing their online presence.
