Hamilton has been waiting since 2011 for all-day GO train service from Hamilton to Toronto! Starting August 7th the West Harbour GO Station will host hourly train service to Toronto.
The new service will not affect existing routes running out of the Hamilton GO Centre on Hunter Street. This does pave the way for expanded service or more frequent service to Niagara and the new station planned at Centennial Parkway North. Trains will begin shortly after 5 a.m. with the last return train from Toronto leaving at 11:45p.m. With this announcement there are plans to increase HSR bus service on the section that the A-Line that connects to West Harbour Station.
