Over the last five years the Economic Development team has been working on exceeding stretch targets and goals that were outlined in the last Economic Development Action Plan. The Economic Development team has worked to entice Amazon to set up in the city, encouraged new investment by a steel plant, and convinced an existing food company to expand operations.
“The city has been on a tremendous trajectory prior to and especially during the pandemic,” said Ward Six Councillor Tom Jackson.
