Minister of Canadian Heritage Steven Guilbeault announced that $2.7 million in funding will go to five Ontario companies including Hamilton’s Pipeline Studios (Pipeline Studios’ CEO Luis Lopez pictured)
Pipeline Studios is set to receive up to $840,000 in funding through the Creative Export Canada program. “The program is really aimed at exports. We are trying to help those companies, those businesses that have the potential to grow even more, and to help Canada shine on the international scene more than we’re already doing.” – Minister Steven Guilbeault
The funding will be used to launch a marketing campaign for animated kids’ show “Doggyworld,” which is scheduled to air in 2021 on Disney.
