A new foreign direct investment from Germany, Infarm (GE) is taking up to 60,000 square feet of space in the Airport Employment Growth District. Infarm is involved in vertical farming and expects to bring 25 new jobs to Hamilton.
The foreign direct investment from InFarm is part of the larger development from Panattoni Development Company Inc. in the Airport Employment Growth District (AEGD). Panattoni’s activities in the area focus on just-in-time delivery services and enhanced air cargo offerings including Amazon’s new fulfillment centre at well over 800,000 square feet in size.
