February 16 @ 10:00 am 11:00 am

Location: Online.

Delivered by one of the world’s leading trademark lawyers, this webinar will provide you with an overview of the legal foundations all small business owners and entrepreneurs should understand. You will learn about liability and its impact on business structure; contracts and why you might need to know how to write one effectively; the legal requirements one might face when borrowing money and navigating financing options; trademarks, patents, and other intellectual property considerations; and, finally, basic employment law and how it may impact you when hiring employees and/or independent contractors.

  • What is the best way to protect my designs or unique aspects of my business? How do I decide if it’s worth it?
  • Will I need to write a contract for clients or employees as a small business owner? How do I do that correctly?
  • How might the law affect my search for funding? What should I be considering?
  • What are my legal responsibilities as an employer?
