Access To Professionals (Accounting): Virtual Sessions

February 20 @ 9:00 am 12:00 pm

Are you looking for business accounting advice?

When running your own business, you do it all. But when it comes to your finances, it may be a good idea to consult an accounting expert for help and advice especially if you’re just starting your venture. An accountant can assist you with tracking and analyzing your finances and keeping your records up-to-date and accurate. But, it all starts with asking the right questions.

The Access to Professionals series provides an opportunity for you to meet with a professional accountant for a 30-minute, one-on-one meeting and allows you to ask any of those burning questions you may have about your business.

A to P business accounting professionals can address most common questions such as:

  • Will the structure of my business affect the way I file taxes?
  • Why do I need a business number?
  • Do I need to register for a GST/HST number?
  • How much of my income will go to taxes?
  • Will I have to pay into the Canada Pension Plan (CPP)?
  • If I work from home, can I expense my mortgage?
  • How should I claim business mileage?
  • Do I need receipts to file taxes?
  • What happens when my business has losses?
