About the Presenter:
Kate Ross is an owner and creative director of Sunrise Creative branding design studio. Her specialty is helping small businesses elevate their branding and marketing efforts to stand out in the market. She holds an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design from Mohawk College and she also received a Digital Media Skills Certificate from OCAD University in Toronto.
She has worked with local and international institutions and companies including: World Youth Alliance, Keller Williams Realty, Mohawk College, Freeman Herbs, and many other local small & medium businesses, start-ups.
As a Registered Graphic Designer (Associate RGD), Kate is staying current with design best practices and tools, consumer trends, and advanced technologies. Kate is passionate about mentoring young designers and helping them get valuable hands-on work experience by providing internships.
Kate is a director consultant for BNI Golden Horseshoe region. She is also an ambassador and a member of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, BNI Score, and Fempreneurs Networking Group. She has volunteered in many organizations within the city and is an active member of the community.
