Intended to provide grants for structural and stability work required to conserve and restore heritage features.

This grant applies to properties used for commercial, institutional, industrial, or multi-residential purposes. It also supports the conservation and restoration of heritage features and the preparation of heritage studies, reports, and assessments for properties designated under Parts IV or V of the Ontario Heritage Act.
Must be located within the Revitalizing Hamilton’s Commercial Districts Community Improvement Project Areas, including Ancaster, Barton Village, Binbrook, Concession Street, Downtown Hamilton, Dundas, Locke Street, Ottawa Street, Stoney Creek, Waterdown, Westdale Commercial Districts, all Strategic Commercial Corridors, and the Mount Hope/Airport Gateway, or within the lower city between Highway 403 and the Red Hill Valley Parkway, and be designated under Parts IV or V of the Ontario Heritage Act. Up to $150,000 per municipal address for eligible work, plus an additional $20,000 for heritage reports, studies, and assessments.
