IHub is the country’s newest hub for collaboration with automotive and aerospace companies to test and develop electric, self-driving and energy efficient technology.
The new multi-million hub will be situated at McMaster Innovation Park where it will develop and test 100 products or services ranging from self-driving vehicles to energy-efficient aircrafts. McMaster University will run the new iHub where the goal is to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
